Quick Hits!
Stock Up!!!
Steven Miller – Miller had a shot at the roster last season as a KR, but his instincts let him down. Miller had a mixed showing today, but was overly positive including a great sideline scamper on one return.
Chad Abram – Any FB trying to make a roster has to make an impact on Special Teams. Abram was a blocker on the aforementioned Miller long return and had some mean hits as a blocker in drills.
Daryl Tapp – Again, Tapp left a positive impression. While he wasn’t beating his man every snap, he won more often than he did not and it looked like he was always talking to the younger players between plays.
Eric Ebron – After a rocky day yesterday and previously, Ebron really flashed the type of potential fans were hoping for when he was drafted. Caught a huge TD pass deep down the seam and made it look effortless.
Brandon Hepburn – The forgotten draft pick, Hepburn made his presence known today with a monstrous hit during team drills. Those kind of chippy hits get a big crowd reaction, but the coaches were also visibly impressed.
Sam Martin – Martin’s punts look like shot from a piece of artillery. Little to no wobble in the air, straight up, over, then down. He looked like a magician yesterday and the magic continued today.
Garrett Reynolds – Another in the growing line of guys I was probably wrong about, Reynolds looked sharp filling in at Tackle. He alternated between OT and OG, but did his best work in space as an outside blocker.
