Some things to note:

Despite Morris Claiborne scoring a 4 out of 50 on the Wonderlic test, his draft value doesn’t fall. And rightly so- sometimes general managers and coaches put too much stock into things like that.

Petyon Manning gets a new receiver in Malcolm Floyd. Floyd = pseudo-Reggie Wayne? Not likely, but still dangerous.

The Patriots stock up their defensive front by selecting a couple bruisers on the line.

Lions are in great position to select several players at this point that would be immediate impact players including: Stephon Gilmore, Peter Konz and Janoris Jenkins. In the end, I think Gilmore has impressed enough, while Jenkins has revealed some potentially distracting issues, that the Lions will select the cornerback from South Carolina. He could earn the starting role right away and it’s time for Detroit to spend a high draft pick for coverage. Peter Konz doesn’t quite fit the best-available strategy.
