The Detroit Lions are gearing up for the upcoming game against the Bears. The game is on Monday Night Football and the Lions are looking for revenge for last year’s two controversial losses to Chicago. Below, I listed three reasons why the Lions will wake up Tuesday with a 5-0 record.

1. Chicago’s Offensive Line is Still Bad

We all remember how bad the offensive line was last year for the Bears. Things haven’t changed. In the 2011 NFL Draft, the Bears spent their first round pick on OT Gabe Carimi out of Wisconsin. Against the Saints a couple weeks back, he injured his right kneecap and has been out since but the Bears are hopeful that he can return to action on Monday night. The Bears also mysteriously let go of veteran center Olin Kreutz before training camp. Olin Kreutz is a six-time Pro Bowler and was a leader inside the Bears locker room. So far this season, the Bears have allowed the second-most sacks in the league with 15. The Bears will struggle protecting QB Jay Cutler come Monday considering the talent of Detroit’s defensive line. More bad news for the Bears, Nick Fairley is expected to make his NFL debut on Monday.
