You probably noticed things look a little different around here. The entire network will eventually be upgraded to “FanSided 3.0″ but SideLion Report has been chosen as one of the first to make the switch.

It’s not just about a new look. The next generation in FanSided’s site design makes each site a homebase for fans of the team each site covers. Head to the SLR homepage and check out The Hub for a collection of Lions related links, tweets, videos and quotes from some of the very best sources around the internet.

Hopefully you’re as excited about the new design as we are. Patrick Allen, FanSided’s VP of Content, had this to say about the revamped design:

The new layout will help us get more headlines in front of you and keep more content on the front page for longer. This way, you’ll never miss out on a story or news item and you’ll be able to keep the conversations in the comments going on much longer than they did in 2.0. It’s more headlines, more conversation, and more of the sports commentary and news you love.
