]]> The collapse of the Metrodome roof has necessitated a move of the Vikings regularly scheduled game with the New York Giants. The game had already been moved from Sunday afternoon to Monday night and now it will also move cities.

The University of Minnesota has a football stadium that is just two years old but won’t be ready on short notice because it has already been winterized. With no local options remaining to play locally, the NFL looked elsewhere.
