As you know, the Lions got off to a hot start with a 5-0 record but have since cooled off. They have lost four of the last six games and face another tough challenge on the road against the Saints on Sunday night. The Lions are right in the middle of the playoff race but could take a big step back if they lose to the Saints this weekend.

If the season ended today, the Lions would be left out of the playoffs. Both Chicago and Atlanta own a tiebreaker over Detroit. The Bears likely will play the rest of the season without Jay Cutler. However, they still have an easy schedule as they only play two winning teams and one of the two is Denver. Atlanta’s schedule is similar to the Bears with only two teams with winning records left.
