EA Sports recently released their week 12 update for Madden 13 and once again most of the adjustments concerning Detroit Lions players are ratings decreases.

It comes as no surprise that one of the ratings decreases is for Titus Young, who is also removed from the depth chart due to suspension with this update. Riley Reiff had some struggles when he had to take over for Jeff Backus last week so he gets docked a bit in this update as well.

One nice increase to see is for Nick Fairley who has earned his way up to an 85 overall rating.

The weekly roster update for Madden 13 has been released and it turns out to be another good one as far as our virtual Detroit Lions are concerned.

With the Lions finding their winning ways, the bulk of the changes this week come in the form of ratings increases.

Not surprisingly, some of the biggest jumps come for young players that have outperformed expectations in recent weeks. Cornerback Jonte Green leads the way with a +4, going from a 68 overall to a more respectable 72. Joique Bell gets a two point bump but still looks low at 66 overall.

In total, nine Detroit Lions are seeing an increase this week while six Lions get knocked down slightly. Jeff Backus takes the biggest hit as he drops two points to a new rating of 78 overall.

The Detroit Lions are finally playing some better football. It’s helping them get a few more wins and it is also helping to send the majority of their player ratings in Madden 13 in the right direction.

The bulk of the roster updates so far this season had slight ratings decreases for a number of Detroit Lions players but that trend is reversing.

This week’s update also reflect a couple roster moves that were made late last week and earlier this week.
