It isn’t a crime to take too much credit for the success of any endeavor, however big or small. It isn’t against the law to exaggerate one’s role in that project.

Former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick is guilty of a fudging a little about his input in bringing Super Bowl XL to Detroit in 2006, and that’s OK. It’s not a federal offense.

The Lions seem to be a sexy sleeper pick to take the next step and make the playoffs whenever the 2011 season starts but a couple of questions linger. The addition of a stud, shutdown corner like Asomugha would certainly answer one question with an exclamation point.
