			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>When the Matt Millen fiasco finally ended the Lions were left with one major problem: a lack of talent. I likened the post-&#8217;08 Lions to an expansion franchise without the luxury of an expansion draft.</p>
<p>With a plan in place the Lions have slowly but surely added talent to the roster thanks to the work of Martin Mayhew, Tom Lewand and Jim Schwartz. Anyone that saw the Lions performance against the Packers last week knows that the roster is still a work in progress but significant strides have been made to the point that at least one other team in the division made a move today as a result.</p>
