Does Dre Bly really make sense for this team? I don’t think so, and the Lions have already told us as much.

July saw the Lions make some last minute signings before the start of camp. They began the month by welcoming back an old friend. Veteran cornerback Dre Bly was signed to a two year deal to add depth in the secondary, but, unfortunately, he wouldn’t end up playing for the team. Bly would end up getting released in the last round of cuts just before the season began.

Later in the month, the Lions brought in linebacker Isaiah Ekejiuba to help out on special teams. Ekejiuba appeared in nine of the first twelve games before a trip to the injured reserve list ended his season.

Every week, he brings a panel of Lions bloggers the questions of you the readers. It is exciting to be a part of a solid group of writers and fans who share equal passion for our football team!

Here are this week’s questions:

Question 1: What was one positive, negative, and huh what? Moment from final cutdowns and initial waiver transactions?

Question 2: Bears Game – Slugfest, Shootout, Blowout or You Call This Football?!

My answers comes after the jump…
