PreSeason Game 1 Review

The third preseason game against the Jacksonville Jaguars was a success as the Detroit Lions came back strong to defeat them 22-17. The Jaguars came out firing and scored two quick touchdowns on the Lions first team defense before Matthew Stafford and Co came back to tie the game going into the second half. The Lions were then able to finish the game off and come away with a victory. This most likely is the last time we will see Matthew Stafford in extended preseason action so it was great to see him playing high level football.

Again, the Lions looked solid when you look at them as a whole. But, its hard to get a good feel on individual performances without taking a closer look into the game tape. Over the next couple slides I will focus in on the first team offense and defense’s performance against the Jags. As always tweet at me if there is any player you want me to cover next week @Nick_Pursel.
