With the 2015 NFL season rapidly approaching, one of the most popular thoughts is that the Detroit Lions have one of the hardest schedules in 2015. It can’t be argued against. In the first five weeks the Lions will face three 2014 playoff teams. One of which is the 2014 NFC Champion Seattle Seahawks. The Lions have their work cut out right off the bat.

What the Lions will need to do is try their absolute hardest to walk into Seattle at at least 2-1. After week five, the Lions season will be hard but a lot more manageable. The Lions must come out early and prove that they can handle playing with top tier of the NFL.

As I mentioned last week in my Lions opposing quarterback power rankings, the Lions are going to be facing some of the leagues toughest quarterbacks, including four Super Bowl winners and nine Pro Bowlers. But what about the rest of the teams? Sure a quarterback can do amazing things for your team, but he can’t fix the defense, special teams or coaching staff.

Today I would like to power rank each team the Detroit Lions will play in 2015 to get a better sense of what’s in store for the Lions in 2015.
