The NFC playoff picture is tightening up with the San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks on the rise and the Detroit Lions trending downward. That adds some murkiness to the top 10 or 15 in this week’s nfl power rankings, although the New England Patriots and Green Bay Packers have made strong cases for the top two spots.

NFL Power Rankings for week 13 have been finalized following Monday night’s games.

Last Week: 31. Jacksonville Jaguars. 32. player. 52. The Jaguars probably deserved to be in the bottom spot in the NFL power rankings even before the Raiders got a win, but now it is official.. 1-10

player. 30. Rex Ryan can say his team didn’t quit against the Bills, but they did.. 2-9. Last Week: 27. New York Jets. 31

29. player. 48. The Bucs should be facing mathematical elimination from the playoffs but in the dreadful NFC South, they’re just a couple games out.. 2-9. Last Week: 28. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Last Week: 26. Carolina Panthers. 26. player. 87. The Panthers should be irrelevant by now but they are in the NFC South. They can thank geography, not their play.. 3-7-1
