The Detroit Lions are slowly leaking out their roster cuts throughout the day, and Garrett Reynolds is the latest to be let go, as reported by Pro Football Talk.
Reynolds spent five seasons with the Falcons before joining the Lions, and had a +0.7 overall grade from Pro Football Focus this preseason.
The Lions are now down to 70 players and have 10 offensive linemen remaining on the roster. With both Keyton and Reynolds gone, this could be great news for Rodney Austin, who would likely serve as a backup guard for the Lions.
With Reynolds’ release the Lions now have 17 more cuts to be made by the 4 p.m. deadline. Check back with us for more updates as the day rolls on.
