Detroit Lions vs. Jacksonville Jaguars: Game Time, TV Schedule, Live Stream

The Detroit Lions are set for their “dress rehearsal” with the Jacksonville Jaguars in town for preseason game number three. Calvin Johnson and Ziggy Ansah are expected to make their preseason debut, giving both the offense and defense their full complement of starters.

The Jaguars’ appearance at Ford Field marks the return of former University of Michigan quarterbacks Chad Henne and Denard Robinson. Robinson made the move away from the quarterback position upon entering the NFL while Henne’s grasp on the starting quarterback job is slipping due to the play of rookie Blake Bortles.

For some, this will be the last chance to impress. The Lions, and other teams around the league, face a Tuesday afternoon deadline to trip their rosters from 90 players down to 75. There will be one more preseason game to be played, but not everyone currently on the roster will have that opportunity to make a final impression in hopes of landing a spot on the final 53-man roster.
