The release of Madden got me thinking back to all the digitized Detroit Lions I played with over the years. So I picked out the very best.

Thinking back on my childhood, summer meant a lot of things including video games and the release of the newest Madden game.

Don’t worry, I rode my bike and played sports outside too, although there is a good chance I stepped on your lawn. Sorry.

The release of Madden got me thinking back to all the digitized Detroit Lions I played with over the years to pick out the very best.

I will admit to not having played every football game out there so my list could create plenty of debate.

Some of the selections are based on player ratings while other are because of style of play preferences.

Whatever the reason for their selection, these five deserve some sort of recognition.

Read through the list and let me know what you think, especially if you can make your case for someone who wasn’t mentioned.

Let’s get on with the top five.
