The Detroit Lions have finally announced when single-game tickets will go on sale. After spending most of the offseason pushing season tickets and mini-packages, Detroit Lions tickets will be available for individual purchase starting on Thursday, July 31.
Single-game tickets for 2014 Detroit Lions preseason and regular season games at Ford Field go on sale Thursday, July 31 at 10 AM ET. Tickets will be available exclusively at Detroitlions.com or by calling 877-212-8898. Fans can also purchase tickets for Lions 2014 home games in person at the Ford Field Ticket Office Monday through Friday between 10 AM and 6 PM.
Individual game tickets start as low as $45 for select regular season games.
Fans can still purchase season tickets by calling 313.262.2222.
While it seems like this comes really late, it’s actually the exact same day the Lions put single-game tickets on sale last year.
For the first time, Lions tickets have a variable pricing structure. Preseason games have a face value much lower than in previous years while four of the team’s eight regular season game have been designated as premium, or TD, and will be more expensive than regular season games in the past. The other four home games, designated as FG, will carry face values about what fans are used to seeing.
So when the announcement says that tickets start as low as $45, that won’t be the case for home games against the New York Giants, Green Bay Packers, New Orleans Saints and Chicago Bears.
