The Detroit Lions put three players on the PUP list prior to training camp but at least one of them won’t even miss a single practice.
The team is set to start full-team workouts this afternoon and Golden Tate will be able to join his new teammates after being removed from the PUP list.
Lions announce Golden Tate comes off PUP list. Don't expect long stays for Ziggy Ansah or TJ Jones either.

Tate was the Lions big prize in free agency and he’ll be able to get right to work in training camp rather than being reduced to mental reps. As a new player to a team installing a new offense, Matthew Stafford and Tate will be better off getting as many practice reps as possible.
This comes with the added good news that Jones and particularly Ansah are not likely to be long for the PUP list either. Ansah has been unable to participate in offseason workouts and the Lions haven’t given a timetable for his return.
