Detroit Lions Gameday Themes for 2014 Season

The Detroit Lions haven’t formally announced the various themes and celebrations they will for gamedays during the 2014 season. However, season tickets were delivered to fans so that information is out in the public.

Here is a look at the themes/celebrations for 2014:

September 8 vs. New York Giants – William Clay Ford tribute
September 21 vs. Green Bay Packers – Blue Out
October 5 vs. Buffalo Bills – A Crucial Catch (breast cancer awareness)
October 19 vs. New Orleans Saints – NFL Homecoming
November 9 vs. Miami Dolphins – Salute to Service
November 27 vs. Chicago Bears – NFL Play 60, 75th Annual Thanksgiving Day Classic
December 14 vs. Minnesota Vikings – Thank You Fans!

The Lions are still only selling tickets as part of season ticket packages. Single game tickets went on sale on July 31 a year ago so it would seem fans will be able to buy tickets individually in the near future. Last year’s announcement was made about a week in advance.
