Detroit Lions Reportedly Only Showing Interest in Moving One Way in First Round

Later tonight we’ll finally find out what the Detroit Lions will do in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft, but a new report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter gives us a clue to the possibilities – at least as far as where the Lions might pick.

No surprise, this has been widely discussed. But if the Lions don’t trade up, might they trade down? It can’t be ruled out but there isn’t any indication they are actively seeking to establish what that market might be like.

Of interest to Lions fans here – beyond the reported lack of interest in the Lions trading back – is the inclusion of the Oakland Raiders and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, two teams ahead of the Lions. If you’re looking for potential trade partners for the Lions to move up, those might be the best bet.
