Did the Detroit Lions have another coaching candidate stolen away from them? It looks like it with Bill Lazor accepting the offensive coordinator position with the Miami Dolphins.

ESPN’s Ed Werder reported yesterday that there was a strong possibility that Lazor would be the guy chosen to lead the Lions offense.

With Lazor being a relatively unknown before yesterday, it is hard to know exactly how big of a blow this really is. However, Lazor has worked under a number of good coaches and can add the development of Nick Foles to his resume having served as the Philadelphia Eagles’ quarterbacks coach this past season.
