The names of head coaching casualties starting rolling in early this morning but news of which way the Lions would go was kept under wraps until the players starting filing in for a meeting at noon.

Schwartz takes the fall for the team’s inability to win their first division title in 20 years despite being pefectly set up to do so after starting 6-3 and Jay Cutler and Aaron Rodgers missed significant time due to injury.
