Detroit Lions Release Playoff Ticket Information to Season Ticket Holders

The Detroit Lions have notified season ticket holders regarding the opportunity to purchase playoff tickets. Per an email sent to season ticket holders, playoff ticket invoices were sent out today with a payment deadline of 6 p.m. EST, Thursday, December 12th, 2013.

Tickets are being sold as two-game packages, representing the maximum possible number of home playoff games.

Of interest to fans will be ticket prices. According to the information provided, playoff ticket prices are set by the league, not the Lions. However, for a possible NFC Wild Card game, Lions season ticket holders will pay their normal regular season per ticket price. Prices for the Divisional Round range from $55 in the Meijer Family Fun Zone to $245 for club seats in sections 206-208. Those prices go up to $95 to $275 should the Lions host the NFC Championship game.

Per the information made available today, a public sale will be offered but details have not been determined.

The timing of the invoice mailing is probably less than perfect considering the Lions two-game losing streak. However, the NFC North remains very winnable with Thursday’s game critically important.
