Vegas Still Confident in Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving Day

While confidence in the Detroit Lions may be waning with the fanbase, confidence does not appear to be eroding with the sports books.

Sure, the Packers are likely to be without Aaron Rodgers and they have problems on defense, but the Lions are coming off a terrible home loss to the Buccaneers. Yet, you can find the Lions listed as six point favorites. Perhaps even more curious to Lions fans is that the early action is much heavier on the Lions than the Packers. According to public pick statistics at SportsPlays.com, 70% of the picks against the spread have been on the Lions.

Here is a look at what is currently available if you’re so inclined:

Against the Spread
Packers +6 (-110)
Lions -6 (-110)

Packers (+215)
Lions (-255)

Point Total
Over 50 (-107)
Under 50 (-113)
