Chances Aaron Rodgers Plays Against Detroit Lions Called 'Slim to None'

We know the Detroit Lions will play the Green Bay Packers on Thanksgiving Day, but who will be their quarterback is yet to be determined. At this point, it is looking like Aaron Rodgers is out of the running.

That leaves Matt Flynn and Scott Tolzien as the options and when it comes to naming a starter, Mike McCarthy sounded a lot like Jim Schwartz.

It will be hard enough for Lions fans to tune in to the national broadcast and have to listen to the Fox crew reset the lost opportunity the Lions have lost over the past couple games, starting Flynn would mean endless references to the 2011 regular season finale in which Flynn carved up the Lions.

Flynn hasn’t done anything since originally leaving the Packers, bouncing around between the Seahawks, Bills and Raiders before returning to Green Bay. However, he may just have another 480 yard, six touchdown performance in him based on the way the Lions secondary has played of late.
