Lost: Bears 21, St. Louis Rams 42

The Bears finally lost with Josh McCown under center, but you can’t really blame McCown in this one, in which he went 36-for-47 for 352 yards and two touchdowns, and the Bears gave up 42 points.

The Bears are perhaps the least imploding team in the NFC North right now, but of the three currently in the playoff hunt, they might also be the least talented overall. But then, talent isn’t helping the Lions or Packers right now, is it?

In a departure from classic Bears style, the offense looks competent and the defense is abysmal. They gave up 65 or more rushing yards and a touchdown each to three different Rams players, and over 250 rushing yards overall. They’re not going far if they can’t stop getting gashed like that.

Next Game: 12/01 at Minnesota (2-8-1)
