The Detroit Lions like to move Calvin Johnson around the offensive formation to give opposing defenses different looks. They are very likely to do that once again today against the Buccaneers, but moving Megatron around isn’t likely to bring the added benefit of moving him away from Darrelle Revis.
According to Ian Rapoport, the Buccaneers plan to use Revis on Johnson as much as possible:
The return of Revis Island: #Bucs sources tell me Darrelle Revis will travel all over the field to cover Megatron almost exclusively.

The Bucs have been criticized this season for how they have used Revis, often neutralizing his skill in man coverge by playing a lot of zone.
This won’t be the first meeting between the two superstars. Calvin had just one catch for 13 yards when the Lions lost to Revis and the Jets in 2010. Since then, however, Calvin has gone on to become the undisputed best wide receiver in the league while Revis is coming off a devastating injury.
Still, Revis vs. Johnson is the matchup everyone wants to see. In my pregame Q&A with The Pewter Plank I said that I expect each player to have his “wins” during the game. With Revis matched up with Calvin all day, the Lions will need someone to step up. Not a bad week for Nate Burleson to return.
