Detroit Lions Injury Situation Looking Better and Better

The Detroit Lions have been proactive in dealing with injuries this season and while injuries are inevitable in the NFL, they are in pretty good shape.

Not bad indeed. Glover Quin missed practice yesterday and was seen in a boot. Apparently he’s been in and out of the boot for several weeks but he just never wore it around the media. He indicated he would play on Sunday and getting back on the practice field is a good sign that he wasn’t being overly optimistic.

Just because everyone is practicing doesn’t mean that everyone is able to go full speed or full reps. Later this afternoon the Lions will release an updated injury report noting who was a full participant and who was limited. Those practicing for the first time this week will likely be limited and it sounds like Israel Idonije is limited as well.
