In this week’s NFL Power Rankings, we have a new No. 1, after the top two teams faced off, as well as a new No. 32, .

Maybe the Denver Broncos are the team that should have been No. 1 all along, and in that case we’re righting wrongs. But the Chiefs played the Broncos down to the wire, proving their status as one of the NFL’s top teams. They’re not going anywhere.

They’re just not the top team any longer. They’re not even the top team in their own division at this point.

And they’re not the only team to get shaken up this week. A collection of marquee matchups (and some upsets) have shifted the balance of power all over the NFL once again. At least we can take solace in knowing the Jaguars are still bad. Speaking of which…
