If somebody had told you the Lions would only have two active tight ends on the roster at the halfway point of the season, would you have believed the two were Brandon Pettigrew and Joseph Fauria?

Based on conversations I had with a number of Lions fans during the preseason, maybe some of you would have. I distinctly recall laughably dismissing predictions that Fauria would replace Tony Scheffler as a starter by the end of this season.

Whoops.

Given that there’s only two tight ends on the roster, it’s going to be a short bit of grades, so here’s a bonus: Scheffler gets an “F” in every area for dropping everything that was thrown his way, including his job.
