It was a matchup of two of the worst teams in the league, but it turned out to be one of the most memorable games of the season. The 1-8 Browns raced out to a 24-3 lead in the first quarter and while three quick touchdown passes from Brady Quinn was an impressive, this day would belong to Matthew Stafford. The rookie led the Lions all the way back before halftime and won the game with a last second touchdown pass to Brandon Pettigrew despite separating his shoulder on a big hit a play before. The 38-37 win got the Lions to just 2-8 on the year but there was no questioning Stafford’s toughness.
