Detroit Lions vs. Green Bay Packers: Weather Won’t Be a Factor

The Detroit Lions always have their hands full when they have to travel to Lambeau Field to take on the Green Bay Packers. Late-season trips to Green Bay often mean playing in inclement weather that most teams just aren’t used to facing. Fortunately for the Lions today, the early-October trip to Lambeau means the playing conditions will be nearly ideal.

The temperature is expected to be around 60 degrees at kickoff and while there will be a few clouds in the sky, there should be a lot more sun. Take a look at the hour by hour forecast for today’s game:

While there will be a little wind, it shouldn’t be enough to have a negative effect on the passing or kicking games. It will be a beautiful day for and important NFC North football game, hard to ask for anything more, except for a Lions win.
