Detroit Lions vs. Green Bay Packers: Fox Sends the Second Unit

Sep 22, 2013; Arlington, TX, USA; Fox sports reporter Tony Siragusa prior to the game with the Dallas Cowboys playing against the St. Louis Rams at AT

The upcoming matchup between the Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers is a big game in the NFC North and Fox is showing it plenty of love on a national scale.

Fox is sending their top broadcast team of Joe Buck and Troy Aikman to Chicago to call the game between the Bears and Saints, but they are sending their number two team to Green Bay. Kenny Albert, Daryl Johnston and Tony Siragusa make the trip for Packers-Lions over other possibilities like Seahawks-Colts and Eagles-Giants, the matchup of struggling media darlings.

The game will be available over local Fox stations throughout Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, the Dakotas, Nebraska, parts of Iowa and Toledo, OH.

Fans in the Detroit media market can switch over to CBS during commercial breaks for Patriots-Bengals on CBS (Greg Gumbel, Dan Dierdorf). CBS also carries the late game in Detroit with Jim Nantz, Phil Simms on the call for Broncos-Cowboys.
