The Detroit Lions have released their list of gameday inactives for their week four game against the Chicago Bears and they will be down two receivers.
Burleson was ruled out early in the week because of a broken arm suffered in a car accident that required surgery. The loss of Burleson is compounded by Patrick Edwards landing on the inactive list for the second week in a row after suffering an ankle injury early in the team’s week two game in Arizona.
Jason Fox missed last week’s game with a groin injury but returned to practice this week and was listed as questionable to play on the team’s final injury report but will be inactive. Fox being out of the lineup means Corey Hilliard will start at right tackle again this week.
Leroy Harris, Mikel Leshoure, Kellen Moore and D’Anthony Smith are all healthy scratches this week. Smith joined the team mid-week after the Lions were awarded him in a waiver claim from the Seattle Seahawks. The Lions will have their usual four-man rotation at defensive tackle with the newly re-signed Andre Fluellen serving as the fourth man but Smith could be the guy in future weeks.
Detroit Lions week 4 inactives in list form:
WR Patrick Edwards
OT Jason Fox
OG Leroy Harris
WR Nate Burleson
RB Mikel Leshoure
