The last time the Detroit Lions played at Ford Field, Thom Brennaman and Brian Billick were in the TV broadcast booth for Fox. After two weeks on the road, the Lions return home and once again it will be the duo of Brennaman and Billick on the call.
Bears fans will also be hearing Brennaman and Billick for the second time. They were on hand in Chicago when the Bears beat the Minnesota Vikings in week two.
No one would be surprised if Brennaman and Billick are just hoping to get a good game out of Sunday’s matchup. The two had to endure the New York Giants’ 38-0 thrashing at the hands of the Carolina Panthers last week.
The Lions-Bears game isn’t the only game on the NFL Sunday slate the two media markets will share. Residents in both areas will get New York Jets at Tennessee Titans on CBS (Greg Gumbel, Dan Dierdorf) and Philadelphia Eagles at Denver Broncos (Joe Buck, Troy Aikman) on Fox in the late time slot.
