The Detroit Lions released their first injury report for week three this afternoon and seven players appear to start the week.

Not surprisingly, Reggie Bush didn’t practice today. Jim Schwartz said Bush was receiving treatment on his knee instead of practicing but gave little more info, stating that he’ll let the injury report speak for itself.

Don Carey (hamstring), Louis Delmas (knee), Jason Fox (groin) and Patrick Edwards (ankle) also missed practice today.

The good news is that after missing last week’s game against the Cardinals with a knee injury, Nick Fairley was able to practice today, albeit in a limited role. Rob Sims was also limited in today’s practice because of a knee ailment.

We won’t know until later in the week how these injuries will impact each player’s ability to play against the Redskins but getting Fairley back on the practice field is a good early sign.
