The Detroit Lions have released their list of gameday inactives and they will be without one very important player.

Defensive tackle Nick Fairley missed some practice time this week with a shoulder injury. He was officially listed as questionable on the fianl injury report. Based on NFL definition, the Lions were saying he was a 50-50 shot to play this week. We now know which 50% was right and it isn’t the good one. Fairley will not play today, giving C.J. Mosley his first start as a Lion.

Also missing due to injury are Jason Fox and Don Carey. Corey Hilliard will draw the start in place of Fox.

Ryan Broyles will once again be held out as he works his way back from the ACL tear he suffered late last season.

Mikel Leshoure, Leroy Harris and Kellen Moore are healthy inactives for the Lions once again this week.
