Reports came out last night that the Detroit Lions had traded quarterback Thaddeus Lewis to the Buffalo Bills for linebacker Chris White. The trade required each player to pass a physical with their new team which happened this morning.

Thaddeus Lewis was clearly not going to make the Detroit Lions final 53-man roster. He was consistently behind Kellen Moore who may have locked down a roster spot with his spectacular performance against the New England Patriots last week.
In exchange for Lewis, the Lions get a look at a different player who may be able to help them this year. Green can play inside or the strong side linebacker position but his real value comes on special teams where he was a consistent contributor for the Bills last season.
