The Detroit Lions look to put their poor performance against the Cleveland Browns behind them tonight as they take on the New England Patriots.

A second-consecutive clunker would be particularly troubling considering the Lions square off against a good opponent at home and because the third preseason game is the supposed “dress rehearsal” for the regular season.

Will the Lions have a better outing tonight? Vegas thinks so, installing the Lions as 2.5 point favorites over the Patriots. There is also an expectation that quite a few points could be scored – the over/under sits at 46 total points.

The Massey Ratings system has a different view, spitting out a most likely score of 30-24 in favor of the Patriots.
