Auction to Benefit the Tom Kowalski Foundation Now Open

Next week will mark two years since Detroit Lions beat writer Tom “Killer” Kowalski’s sudden death. While it still feels like there is a hole in Lions coverage that could never be filled, others have taken up the cause to make sure a void doesn’t develop when it comes to the charitable causes that were dear to Killer.

One way that is happening is with the Killer Cares Auction. This is your chance to support the Tom Kowalski foundation by bidding on one (or more) of ten experiences like dinner with Jim Leyland and Gene Lamont or tickets to a Red Wings game with a pre-game meeting with Mickey Redmond.

The auction is underway now and will run through September 3, 2013. For more on the Tom Kowalski foundation, head to KillerCares.org.
