Lions vs. Browns: Game Time, TV Schedule, Live Stream and Open Thread

The Detroit Lions and Cleveland Browns are just hours away from renewing their preseason rivalry. OK, rivalry is a little strong and it is unlikely the Lions will be motivated by the chance to win back the Great Lakes Classic Trophy but that doesn’t mean the game is meaningless.

The Lions offense will look to get off to a better start than they did a week ago. The first-team under Matthew Stafford’s direction did manage a scoring drive but it ended in just a field goal. Stafford finished just 3 for 8 with all three completions going to Calvin Johnson.

Riley Reiff and the defensive backfield will also looking for better performances while Ashlee Palmer may be on the cusp of winning the left outside linebacker job.
