Detroit Lions to Face Cleveland Browns as Slight Underdogs

When the Detroit Lions finish their game against the Cleveland Browns tonight, the final score and whether they won or lost will be one of the least important topics to talk about.

That being said, there is an undeniable connection between betting and football and the excitement generated by the return of football means there are people out there looking to wager a little money on whatever action they can get.

Unlike last week, the Lions enter tonight’s game as underdogs with the Browns giving a point and a half. Vegas sets the over/under at 41.5 total points.

If you bet based on the Massey Ratings prediction in the Lions preseason opener you won against the spread (Lions -3.5) and by betting on OVER 36 total points. Once again this week Massey likes the OVER and the favorite to cover with a predicted score of Browns 24, Lions 22.
