The Detroit Lions were left with two open roster spots after letting go of linebacker Alex Elkins and wide receiver/special teamer Devin Thomas. They filled one with cornerback Bradon King earlier in the day, leaving just one spot unaccounted for.
That spot has now been filled with the Lions being awarded a waiver claim on linebacker Adrian Moten who was waived by the Cleveland Browns yesterday. Moten went undrafted out of Maryland in 2010 and has spent time with the Indiapolis Colts, Seattle Seahawks, Philadelphia Eagles and the Browns. He has played in 13 games in his career, 12 of which came in 2011 between the Colts and Seahawks.
