If Dominic Raiola Is Trying to Feel Like He Did As A Rookie, He’s Doing It All Wrong

At this point in his NFL career, Detroit Lions center Dominic Raiola probably wishes he felt like he did when he was a rookie.

12 seasons takes a toll on the body and Raiola probably lacks some of the spring in his step he had when he first entered the league in 2001. So, it would make sense for Raiola to do what he can to try to re-gain what was lost.

Unless it comes to rocking the bleached blonde look.

Raiola showed up to training camp rocking the kind of frosted tips that were so popular around the turn of the millenium.

Come on, Dom. Even Eminem gave that up long ago.

No word yet on whether Raiola is more concerned with opposing defensive lines or Y2K.

His son looks just like him. My son played on his baseball team his mother was one of the coaches. Dom is a great player quit knocking the guy. His son is an exceptional athlete. Hope the mom is a coach again.

Dom needs to get his priorities straightened out. When does being a professional athlete forgive you from your responsibility of being a loving and supportive father to your child? But hey, if the fans can forgive him for flipping them off after they spent the big bucks to watch a consistent loser play football, who’s to say they can’t put his status as a deadbeat dad behind them too. The mother of his child takes on both parental roles in her sons life, as well as being the sole financial provider, while he sports an artificial hair dye job for the sake of the fans. He’s a rookie all right, at being a human being.
