The Detroit Lions have been looking for a defensive tackle having recently worked out the likes of Justin Bannan, John Drew and Rocky Bernard. Former Lions defensive tackle Corey Williams also remains a free agent but the team decided to bring back a different familiar face.
Who? It’s Andre Fluellen.

The addition may end up being more than just a way to fill the final roster spot that was created yesterday when the Lions released Bill Nagy. With a spot available in the Lions’ four-man defensive tackle rotation, Fluellen has an opportunity for playing time.
Fluellen was originally drafted by the Lions in the third round of the 2008 draft. He was with the team until last season when he signed with the Miami Dolphins. However, Fluellen rejoined the Lions late in the year. He was with the Chicago Bears for a portion of the offseason but was released on May 20.
