Plenty of Detroit Lions fans have experienced buyers remorse after picking up a jersey of a player who doesn’t end up staying with the team for very long. That feeling reached a new high last week when thousands of New England Patriots fans went from having a replica jersey of a tight end in their closet to a replica jersey of a man accused of murder.

To the Patriots organization’s credit, they are allowing their fans the opportunity to bring their #81 Hernandez jersey to the team’s pro shop to exchange it for a different jersey. When the news came out, I asked Detroit Lions fans what they wish the organization would allow them to trade in. Here are some of the answers I received through fans connecting with SideLion Report on Facebook and Twitter:

From Bob P. on facebook:

The entire reign of Matt freakin’ Millen!

From Brennan C. on facebook:

My old Charles Rogers jersey. Or the black ones they wore for like three years.

From John S. on facebook:

The last 25 years as a Lion’s fan
