Ford Field to Host High School Football Kickoff Showcase

The Michigan high school football season will conclude at Ford Field with eight state championship games and Ford Field will also help get the 2013 season kicked off.

Some of the state’s best high school football teams will take part in the Million Meal Hunger Prep Football Classic, a four team event to be held on August 31, 2013 at Ford Field.

10am – Detroit East English Village vs. Detroit Loyola
1pm – Detroit King vs. Port Huron
4pm – Utica Eisenhower vs. Rockford
7pm – Clarkston vs. Rochester Adams

Tickets are just $12 and provide much more than a solid slate of high school football games. Proceeds from the event go to support Forgotten Harvest in their efforts to curb hunger in Metro Detroit.

Tickets can be purchased online in advance of the event or through day of walk up sales at the Ford Field box office.
