Detroit Lions War Room Set for #MockSix

The period of time between the Super Bowl and the NFL Draft would seem to take a whole lot longer if mock drafts didn’t exist. Fans sometimes go overboard putting too much stock into a single mock draft, but they are fun and a great way to learn about all the prospects as the draft approaches.

One great site that has taken mock drafts up a notch is MockOne.net, created by Brandon Nall. The concept is simple: take passionate nfl fans on twitter and let them represent a team in a full mock draft.

Five full mocks have already been completed under this model for 2013 and I’m proud to announce I will be heading up the Lions team for the sixth go-round. While you can follow along on the MockOne website, the heart of the exercise is on twitter – a place any hardcore NFL fan should be anyway. Follow @MockOneNet for tweets of each pick or follow along and join in the discussion with the hashtag #MockSix.

The Detroit Lions #MockSix war room will be filled by:
Zac Snyder, @ZacSnyder
Braden Shackelford, @shack_attack03
Dean Holden, @Dean_Holden
Stefan Spurlock, @lionsnewsdaily

#MockSix will get underway on Monday or Tuesday but make sure you’re following all these accounts now so you don’t miss anything! This should be a lot of fun.
