The last question Reggie Bush was asked at his introductory press conference was about the number he would wear on his new Detroit Lions jersey.

It’s a question that Bush has been asked since he joined the NFL in 2006. Bush wore the number 5 in college but NFL rules limit running backs to numbers 20 through 49. After being drafted by the New Orleans Saints, Bush settled on the number 25. Upon joining the Miami Dolphins, Bush wore the number 22.
Of course, the number 22 has been retired by the Lions in honor of Bobby Layne and the number 25 belongs to Mikel Leshoure. That means Bush will have to pick a new number. And he has:

Reggie Bush jerseys may not outsell Matthew Stafford and Calvin Johnson jerseys this offseason but you can bet there will be more than a few number 21 jerseys sprinkling the Ford Field crowd by the time the 2013 season starts.
