ESPN’s Adam Schefter has retraced his previous report stating Glover Quin had agreed to terms with the Detroit Lions.
Hold off on Glover Quin’s agreement with Detroit. Another source said, Not so fast. Situations in free agency, as we see, can be fluid.

But don’t worry, Quin is in the fold according to Tim Twentyman of DetroitLions.com
Lions have agreed to terms on a five-year deal with S Glover Quin, according to league source.

But that’s not all of interest at the safety position. Consider this tweet from CBS Sports’ Jason La Canfora:
With Delmas likely to DET, Goldson likely to TB and Quin now w/DET, Ed Reed sitting pretty. HOU, SF, IND, NE among those who could use him

So it looks like Quin is officially a done deal with the Lions, it looks like Louis Delmas may be closer to re-signing than anyone previously knew.
That would be great news if true as Quin and Delmas (when healthy) would make a nice pair of safeties. With those two and the re-signing of Chris Houston, the Lions secondary starts to look a lot better than it did a couple days ago.
Delmas had been on a visit with the Rams while leaving an offer from the Lions on the table. Perhaps he is finding that the market is not as kind towards him as he thought it might. Stay tuned.
